Description

The Factory Race Series 3.0 Internal Bypass shock delivers race-dominating, position-sensitive damping technology and performance in a hassle-free bolt-on kit. Patented internal bypass technology features regulated ports that allow fluid to bypass the piston during initial travel, then force fluid through the piston at extreme compression and rebound ranges. This provides a plush, predictable ride over normal off-road conditions with the ability to increase damping force to counter harsh bottom-outs or top-outs that could throw you off the trail. These hard-anodized, aluminum-bodied shocks are engineered with precision-machined aluminum components and race-bred internal valving. They bolt onto your 2-3″ aftermarket suspension lift kit using OEM shock pivots. They feature a new remote Recirculating Reservoir Bridge and a hard-anodized, CNC-machined aluminum remote reservoir with external fins that act as a heat sink to increase heat dissipation and maintain optimal shock oil temperature for consistent damping. The Factory Race Series 3.0 Internal Bypass shocks use the same components as our race-winning Trophy Truck shocks, including stainless steel shock shafts, PTFE-lined spherical bearings, proprietary racing oil, and high-temp Viton® seals. The 3.0″ impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum body resists corrosion and weighs less than steel. The body is hard-anodized for a durable finish. The new aluminum finned remote reservoir with Recirculating Reservoir Bridge dissipates heat quickly. Components include black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The shaft is 7/8″ hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel. The piston features a race-developed high-flow design. Valving is application-specific to maximize performance. Seals use a redundant sealing pack system with main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal to resist leaks in harsh conditions. Bearings are PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel spherical to keep shock movement quiet and smooth. Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters allow tool-free high and low-speed compression adjustment. Mounting includes machined 7075 aluminum reservoir mounting hardware and offset bottom shock mounts. Adjuster type is DSC – Dual Speed Compression. Extended length is 24.540, compressed length 15.780, with 8.760 travel. Top and bottom mount eyelets are included. Fitment notes include a universal finned reservoir clamp.
